Ran three miles today including warmup & cooldown. i felt kinda sick. probably because for lunch i had mcdonalds. and ate a lot of sweets last night… ah well. can’t help my sweet tooth. but i did manage to get a really good pace in for two miles. over all, i’d like to call it a success. :)
man three is getting boring. i’ll hopefully do four again on saturday (taking friday off).
and that’s it. i’m tired so i’m not doing any other exercises. ohhhh welllllll. :)
onmywaytobecomingahealthywoman asked: Im in the military ,... and running is my only weakness.. I can do push ups.. do situps for days.. but running has always been hard.. what do you recommend to get my body in shape to run..
There’s only one way to start running. you’ve just got to go for it. it may be tough at first, for example you may not be able to even do a mile but you have to keep at it. it’s really hard in the beginning and people often quit.
to stay motivated during a really hard run, i think about why i’m running. think about your own motivation. whether it’s for a race, to get in shape, or simply for fun.
once you get to a comfortable pace and can got a few miles at a time it gets so much better! good luck!! :)
